Only Beyoncé could divert attention from Taylor Swift and the 2024 Super Bowl.

On Sunday night, Verizon aired a Super Bowl commercial featuring an exciting Beyoncé ad: new music is on the way.

In the intricate, self-referencing ad, Beyoncé playfully wore several different hats, appearing as a live-streaming gamer, an artificial intelligence robot, and even as a candidate for Beyoncé of the United States (BOTUS).

Ultimately, the announcement led Beyoncé fans to a highly anticipated announcement.

“Okay, you’re ready: release the new music. I told everyone Renaissance It’s not over,” Beyoncé revealed in the announcement.

Separately on her social media pages, the singer announced her new album. Act II, a follow-up to their 2022 album Renaissancewill premiere on March 29.
