President Joe Biden on Thursday attempted to clean up a mess that began with the release of special counsel Robert Hur’s damning report on his handling of classified documents and his memory. It didn’t go well.
Hur found that Biden “intentionally retained and disclosed classified materials,” including classified documents related to national security and “sensitive intelligence sources and methods,” in his home, garage and office for decades.
But in a classic example of the two-tier justice system under his administration, Biden will not be charged because he is a “well-intentioned old man with a bad memory” and it would be difficult to get a jury to convict anyone. how weak
We don’t think that. That’s literally the conclusion Hur and his research came to.
According to the report, Biden “did not remember when he was vice president” or “when his son Beau died,” and exhibited “diminished powers” and “significant limitations” during his interview with the special counsel.
The evidence of the obvious decline in the president’s mental faculties, by any measure, is incredibly alarming.

Biden’s mental acuity report is an abject disaster
Former President Donald Trump offered a good point in a social media post, commenting on the special counsel’s explanation that Biden would escape charges because he had played the “well-intentioned old man with a bad memory” card.
Trump explained that the classified documents were “intentionally” obtained by Biden as vice president and as a senator, long before his mental struggles took hold.
“Biden grabbed the Papers in his ‘mental prime time,’” he wrote. “He should not be allowed to get away with this and was not protected by the Presidential Records Act.”
That’s right, you shouldn’t get away with it. But of course she has done it. What he didn’t get his way is the fact that Hur’s report indicates that the president of the United States, the man of the nuclear codes, was considered too senile to stand trial.
Sensing how damaging that information is to his re-election campaign, Biden went public to defend his cognitive problems, even calling journalists outside the list his handlers typically provide.
Enter Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, who managed to transform the weak Biden into a lively, angry Biden with his questions about memory.
“One thing the special counsel said in his report is that one of the reasons you were not charged is because, in his description, you are a ‘well-intentioned old man with a bad memory,’” Doocy said.
“I mean well, I’m an old man and I know what the hell I’m doing,” Biden responded. “I have been president and I put this country back on its feet. I don’t need your recommendation-“
Put the country back on its feet? He can’t even stand up.
We now live in a time when the President of the United States is so mentally impaired that he has to hold a press conference to assure the American people that he “knows what the hell he’s doing.”

President Biden even argued with journalists from normally accommodating media outlets about his memory.
An exchange with CNN correspondent MJ Lee turned particularly combative when she said, “Many Americans have been watching and have expressed concerns about his age.”
“That’s your judgment!” Biden shouted as he pointed a defiant finger at him. “That’s your judgment! “That is not the judgment of the press.”
First, that is the judgment of the American people, not the press. It’s telling that Biden simply wants media adoration and nothing more.
Second, an NBC News poll shows that three-quarters of voters, including half of Democrats, say they are concerned about Biden’s physical and mental health.

Biden defends his memory and quickly forgets things
By any measure, President Biden’s “my memory is fine” press conference was an abject disaster. Not only because of the angry and defensive tone that indicates that there is is There was nothing to get angry and defensive about, but because it presented several key clues that yes, your memory is a big problem.
Biden began by referring to Egyptian President Abdel Fatah El-Sisi as the “president of Mexico.” A Mexican president who he apparently convinced to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.
“As you know, initially, the president of Mexico, Sisi (sic), did not want to open the door to allow the entry of humanitarian material (to Gaza). I spoke with him. I convinced him to open the door,” Biden said.

Then, speaking about the death of his son Beau – who Hur stated in his report that Biden did not remember what year he died – the president seemed to forget the name of the church where there is a rosary that he carries “every day” in his the honor came from.
“Let me tell you something. Some of you have commented. I have been wearing, since the day he died, every day, the rosary that he received from Our Lady of…”, he said, leaving everyone on the edge of their seats.

To top off his disastrous public performance, President Biden, in separate comments to Democrats, declared that he was a man who represents red and “green” states and discussed the famous landmark abortion case, “Roe v. Word.”
“I said I was going to be president for everyone, whether you live in a red state or a green state,” Biden said.

All of this comes during a week in which President Biden’s mental struggles have been in the spotlight after he twice claimed to have spoken to former German Chancellor Helmut Kohl, who died in 2017, about the January 6 Capitol riots. in 2021, and insisted that he had spoken with former French president François Mitterrand, who died in 1996.
