CBS and the National Football League just promoted the ridiculous rating, announcing that the Chiefs vs. 49ers beat Chiefs vs. Last year’s Eagles (115.1 million) as the most viewed of all time.
It wasn’t even close… with 120 million viewers on television and the rest on other platforms. In fact, the network says that more than 200 million watched at least part of the game.

FYI, Super Bowls make up 8 of the 10 most-watched television shows in history.
The ratings were also helped by the superstars playing in the game… Patrick Mahomes, Travis KelceChristian McCaffrey, etc., and stars are a big factor when it comes to ratings.
Usher He also put on an amazing halftime show… which presumably attracted a lot of spectators.
Swift’s effect on the NFL has been considerable… as even the commissioner Roger Goodell admitted in the days before the game. What impact has it had? TS has reportedly netted the Chiefs and the league more than $330 million in free coverage.
That manifests itself in a huge boost for the Chiefs fan base and a huge increase in Kelce’s popularity… and now you can add the most-watched Super Bowl of all time to the list.
