Neurophet AI to be integrated with next Alzheimer’s treatment device
Neurophet has partnered with ReadyCure to develop a dementia treatment system called Helaxon.
According to a press release, Neurophet will integrate its artificial intelligence solution, Neurophet AQUA, to support brain image analysis at Helaxon. AI-based software can analyze and detect white matter degeneration in brain MRIs of patients with Alzheimer’s disease.
ReadyCure will use this capability along with the use of digital x-rays to deliver low doses of radiation to treat dementia, particularly Alzheimer’s disease.
New cardiac ultrasound AI comes to Korea
Digital health company SELVAS Healthcare will bring AI-based cardiac ultrasound technology from Israel to South Korea.
It has partnered with UltraSight to help it obtain regulatory approval in the country for its AI guidance software while also having exclusive distribution rights for product. UltraSight offers an artificial intelligence solution that helps acquire cardiac ultrasound images at the point of care. The Israeli company also has a long-term plan to enter other Asian markets, particularly Southeast Asia.
Latest healthcare blockchain offering for patient data security
Verida, a Singapore-based decentralized data network provider, has partnered with Swiss company Partisia Blockchain to offer a new integrated technology solution to protect patient health data.
Its new privacy technology stack combines Verida’s decentralized network for data storage and Partisia’s advanced multi-party computing technology to allow users to control access to their data by eliminating centralized data storage in the process.
It also allows patients to securely contribute to healthcare research while maintaining complete privacy and full control of their data, a press release noted.
