“I was thinking that right when I heard the news 30 minutes ago, memories started running through my head of all the awards shows and after parties, whether it was in the back of Losers playing guitars or we were at a golf tournament or outside . Los Angeles,” she continued. “So many different places over the years. He was just a great, great guy. We called him Big Dog. He was a big man.”
Kid Rock continued to praise Keith for the love he had for the United States military and the brave men and women who wear the uniform.
“We used to joke about who went there more because he and I have definitely been there dozens, if not 20 times,” Kid Rock concluded. “Going through Christmas and Thanksgiving, every time they called us we went to do it.”
