Justin Hartley Talks His Wife Being Love Interest on ‘Tracker’ and Doing Him ‘Dirty’ (Exclusive)

Justin Hartley He is especially fond of his latest co-star: his real-life wife! ET’s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner spoke with the 47-year-old actor in Las Vegas on Friday and he joked. Sofia Pernas‘participation in his new series, Tracker.

Hartley, who plays Colter, a survivor who helps locate people, said Pernas plays a woman who “emerges from her past” on the show.

“She’s a love interest from his past,” he told ET. “They also worked together and she has a similar skill set and a similar lifestyle, although hers is more technological.”

As for why things didn’t work out between the characters the first time, Hartley said, “She messed up in the past, so they broke up.”

Working with Pernas, whom she married in 2021, had some perks, as Hartley joked about the PDA scenes: “I just built some that weren’t in the script.”

That kind of love is something Hartley is thrilled to have found in real life, telling ET, “It’s wonderful, liberating and just a great place to be.”

Hartley is in Las Vegas to watch the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. Travis Kelcetight end for the former team, also knows a thing or two about love, as his romance with Taylor Swift It has been highly publicized.

“They look like two people in love. I don’t know anything else about it, so I’m happy for them. I’m happy for anyone who finds love,” Hartley said. “I think it’s the most wonderful thing to find someone that you can share this life with, walk through life, share experiences and hopefully grow old together and tell stories. I just think there’s nothing better than that.”

Whether Kelce and the Chiefs emerge victorious or not, Hartley hopes that after the big game, viewers will keep the television on to watch his new show.

“I’m excited about this. It’s been a long time coming. Ken Olin and I built this program out of the group years ago, before We are I even finished filming our last season. We’ve been at this for years, through a pandemic and a strike, and so on. (Now there are) only a couple of days left. “This is pretty exciting,” he told ET about Tracker. “…We poured our hearts and souls into this and started working on this what seems like an eternity (ago). It’s a labor of love for sure…I’m very proud of it and happy to finally get a chance for it.” people see it.”

Tracker debuts Sunday on CBS immediately after the Super Bowl.
