Kate Williams and Mo’NiqueSharing her “truth” on “Club Shay Shay” was the worst possible move for the black community… at least in Judge Mathis‘ eyes.
The man has been paid to have an honest indicator of difficult situations (legal, ethical and otherwise) and, according to Hizzoner, he rules that all this smearing sucks. On Friday, Mathis spoke out on her Instagram page and called for an end to the recent public missiles between Black artists.
He didn’t mention Katt and Mo by name, but the social media space has been in shambles ever since. Katt’s interview. issued on January 3… and Mo did the same this week, even joining KW’s national tour with other comedians who seem to have issues to choose from.
Judge Mathis did not bite his tongue: he called the feeding frenzy a disgrace to black culture and feels in his gut that H’wood’s big executives and studios are laughing silently on the sidelines.
He also noted that he doesn’t see other cultures destroying each other in public…only black people are the sideshow; That’s how he frames his argument here.
The 63-year-old judge admitted that he doesn’t always stay calm in his own courtroom, but he notes that he turns those outbursts into entertainment for his television shows.
Judge Mathis concluded by emphasizing that these stars’ problems should be discussed in private settings… rather than setting bad examples.
we will see if Shannon Sharpe takes a break with these interviews, or continues to expose celebrities with more complaints. At first glance, he seems inclined toward the latter.
