A few weeks ago we shared the enlightening book. Frida Kahlo: her photos, which was recently republished by Editorial FM. Join us on February 20 for a conversation with the book’s editor, Pablo Ortiz Monasterio, who was asked to curate an exhibition of images from Kahlo’s vast photographic archive, never before seen by the public.

Hidden for decades inside a bathroom at La Casa Azul in Mexico City (the artist’s famous home, now the Frida Kahlo Museum), the collection contained more than 6,000 photographs taken by and belonging to the artist and her husband Diego Rivera. Monasterio ultimately brought together 401 of the most significant finds in the book, now in its third edition.

The virtual conversation is free and open to the public. Register to reserve your seat.
