Saturday’s announcement came as Palestinian health officials reported dozens of casualties due to intensified Israeli attacks on central Gaza and other parts of the besieged and bombed territory.

The military said the four captives: Noah Argamani, 25; Almog Meir January, 21; Andrei Kozlov, 27 years old; and Shlomi Ziv; 40 – had been removed from the Nova music festival during the Hamas attack in southern Israel in October

They were “in good medical condition” and were taken to hospital for medical checks after a “complex daytime operation” in Nuseirat, Gaza.
